The Aspen Institute has named Broward College as a Finalist with Distinction for this year’s Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence. The Aspen Prize is the nation’s signature recognition of high achievement among America’s community colleges, and Broward College has consistently ranked in the top 10.

The Aspen Prize, awarded every two years since 2011, recognizes outstanding institutions that demonstrate excellence in six areas: teaching and learning, certificate and degree completion, transfer and bachelor’s attainment, workforce success, equitable outcomes for students of color and students from low-income backgrounds, and leadership and culture.

We are so thankful to our alumni and friends – your engagement makes a meaningful difference for Broward College.  We are also grateful to our philanthropic supporters whose contributions directly impact student success. Together we can continue to improve the outcomes and excellence of both our college and our greater community.
