Alumni Spotlight

Dr. Carl Carruthers, Jr. earned his A.A. at BC, his B.S. in Chemistry at Florida Atlantic University, his M.S. in Biochemistry at Texas A&M University, and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Houston. He is the Downstream Process Development Scientist at Vaccine Production Program/NIAID/NIH. The mission of VPP is to facilitate the development of effective vaccines for human infectious disease and outbreaks. He is also the Owner/Member of Coast Phase Consulting, LLC. Dr. Carruthers has many accomplishments both on Earth and in space!
